Somi- If The Rains Come First

The IAAF welcomes the latest upcoming singer, SOMI! Born in Illinois to immigrants from Rwanda and Uganda, she has been an influential force in the the African and Jazz Movement. Often referred to as a modern-day Miriam Makeba, her live performance are described as “the earthy gutsiness of Nina Simone blended with the vocal beauty of Dianne Reeves.”

Brothers Who Burn

IAAF in conjunction with the National Association of Kawaida Organization presents the 7th annual Brothers Who Burn Fundraiser. IAAF board members and supporters will be preparing delicious and healthy appetizers, entrees, desserts and drinks. There will be vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and organic options available.
